OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Our Occupational therapists assist patients to live independent, productive, and satisfying lives. We use the “occupations” of self-care, work, and play/leisure activities to increase independence, enhance development, and prevent disability. To achieve goals set by the client with the occupational therapist, tasks and/or the environment may also be adapted or modified for successful and confident participation in meaningful daily activities.  Occupational therapists focus on helping people be as independent as possible in all areas of their lives in order to live life to the fullest.

pelvic floor THERAPY

Many suffer from pelvic floor dysfunction which can lead to urinary and/or bowel incontinence and pelvic pain. Pregnancy, childbirth, chronic constipation, chronic coughing, surgery, trauma and aging can cause pelvic floor muscle tension, incoordination and weakness. We offer physical therapy that is specifically focused on pelvic floor health.  We have physical therapists specialized in the area of pelvic floor therapy at each of our locations. The physical therapists develop individual treatment plans to address the patients' conditions and concerns and improve their quality of life.

dry needling

Our physical therapists are certified and trained to provide Dry Needling for treatment of many conditions.  Dry needling is a therapeutic technique in which the trained physical therapist inserts very thin, sterile needles into trigger points or tight muscles in the body.  Dry needling can be used to assist in the improvement of many diagnoses including:  tendonitis, epicondylitis, carpal tunnel, plantar fasciitis, spinal dysfunction, shoulder pain, sports injuries, radiculopathy, joint pain and dysfunction and many more!
